01Who we are

Verdikt Studio (“Verdikt”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at any time at [email protected].

02What we collect

We keep this short on purpose. We only collect what we need to answer you and do the work.

  • What you send us. The website address, email address, the service you are after and any note you add when you use a form on this site.
  • Emails. Anything you choose to include when you write to us directly.
  • Technical data. IP address, browser and device details that our hosting and spam protection providers process when you load a page or submit a form.
  • Things stored in your browser. Your cookie choice, and your best score and number of plays in the Overruled game. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at the moment. If that changes, they will only run after you agree to them in the cookie banner.

03How we use it

  • To reply to you and give you a verdict on your site.
  • To prepare a proposal, deliver the work and send invoices if you become a client.
  • To keep the site secure and keep spam out of our forms.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data, rent it out, or use it to make automated decisions about you.

04Legal bases

If you are in the UK or the EU, we rely on these legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Taking steps before a contract when you ask us to review your site or quote for work.
  • Contract when we work together.
  • Legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and answering general questions.
  • Consent for any optional cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legal obligation for keeping financial records.

05Who we share it with

We use a small number of providers to run this site. They only process data on our behalf:

  • Webflow hosts the site and stores form submissions.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from people, not bots.
  • Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver fonts and code libraries, so they receive your IP address when a page loads.
  • Our email provider handles the messages we send and receive.

Members of the Flowdudes team who work on your project can also see the details you send us.

06International transfers

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

07How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not turn into a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Client and project records: as long as needed for the project, then as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
  • Data stored in your browser: until you clear it or change your choice.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. California residents can ask what we collect and ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law.

Email [email protected] and we will answer within one month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

09Security

We use reputable providers, keep access to client data to the people who need it, and use secure connections across the site. No system is perfect, so please do not send passwords or other sensitive details through our forms.

10Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

11Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
