“How much does a Webflow site cost?” has the same answer as “how much does a house cost?”: it depends on what you are building. What we can do is show you the lines that make up the number, so you know what you are paying for and where you can save.
The short verdict
- Build is usually the biggest line. Design is the one that changes the result most.
- The number of unique page layouts matters more than the number of pages.
- Plan for Webflow’s hosting plan on top, billed by Webflow, not by us.
01The five lines
Every rebuild we quote breaks down into the same five lines. Some projects skip one entirely. A straight move to Webflow, for example, has almost no design line, because the design already exists.
Design
Turning the generated layout into something that looks like your company: structure, typography, colour and the pages that matter most. It is the line with the most influence on how the finished site performs, and the one that shrinks to almost nothing when you only want the current design moved.
Build
Recreating the design in Webflow as a proper system: classes, variables and reusable components, responsive down to the smallest phone. It is usually the largest line, and it is driven by how many unique layouts the site has, not how many pages. Ten blog posts on one template cost far less than ten different landing pages.
CMS
Setting up collections for anything that repeats, designing their templates and moving the existing content in. A blog with a few dozen posts is quick. Hundreds of items, multiple linked collections or content that needs cleaning up on the way in take longer.
Motion
Scroll, hover and transition work that makes the site feel considered. A handful of well-placed moments is a small line. Signature sequences, like a hero that builds itself or a product tour driven by scroll, are where it grows.
Hand-off
SEO settings, redirects, forms, analytics, launch and a walkthrough so your team can edit the site confidently. It is the smallest line and the one people are most tempted to cut. It is also the one that protects your rankings and stops you calling a developer for every change.
02What makes it bigger or smaller
| Factor | Smaller | Bigger |
|---|---|---|
| Design | Keep the current look | New design from scratch |
| Layouts | A few templates, reused | Every page different |
| Content | Short, ready to paste | Hundreds of items, needs cleaning |
| Motion | A few key moments | Signature scroll sequences |
| Integrations | Forms and analytics | CRM, gated content, custom code |
“You do not pay for pages. You pay for decisions, and for every layout that is different from the last.”
03Three ways to buy it
Not everyone needs every line. We offer the same three paths you will see on our homepage, so you only pay for the part that matches where your site is.
- Move it to Webflow. Same site, rebuilt properly. Mostly build, CMS and hand-off, with little or no design.
- Make it move. Motion added to the site you already have. Mostly the motion line.
- Rebuild the whole thing. Design, build and motion from scratch. All five lines.
04Running costs after launch
Webflow charges separately for hosting through its site plans, and for team seats if several people edit in the Designer. Plans change, so check Webflow’s pricing page for current numbers. The upside is what you no longer pay for: separate hosting, security updates, plugin licences and the developer time a hand-built or generated codebase needs to stay safe.
05Questions people ask
How do you price a rebuild?
From the site itself. Send us the link, and we look at the number of layouts, the content, the motion you want and the integrations, then tell you which path fits and what it costs.
Is Webflow hosting included in the price?
No. Hosting is paid to Webflow directly through a site plan, so the site and its billing stay in your own account.
Can I start with one part and add more later?
Yes. Many clients move the site first and add motion later, or start with motion on the pages that matter most.
What usually makes a quote go up?
New layouts that do not reuse anything, content that needs heavy cleaning on the way into the CMS, and integrations that need custom code.
